Welcome to Kumasi Technical Institute (KTI)

Kumasi Technical Institute (KTI) is a coeducational second-cycle technical school located in Kumasi, Ashanti Region of Ghana. The institute was established in September 1976 by the Government of Ghana with support from the Canadian International Development Agency (C.I.D.A).

Academic work officially began in January 1977, and since then, KTI has been one of Ghana’s leading technical training institutions, offering practical and theoretical education that prepares students for careers in engineering, construction, technology, and applied sciences.

KTI operates under the Ghana TVET Service (GTVET) and is accredited by the Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET), empowering learners with hands-on experience and innovation to meet industrial standards.
